This is definitely a unique situation, so if nothing else it may serve as an interesting read.I was banned on this server I think in 2014? It was a long time ago so I can't really remember when exactly. I was around 12 years old or so when I got involved with a fairly notorious and unsavory character (Who was 22 at the time?? Ick.). I honestly can't remember why I was banned, I'm sure it was a fair enough reason. Recently, I've been thinking about all of the time I spent on this server before I was banned. I played for years with two of my best friends at the time, building houses, making friends, and having so much fun being a part community that mushroom.co has built. I'm a college graduate now, with a new group of friends who love Minecraft. I can't think of a better place to introduce them to for casual survival than this server. I understand this is a nuanced situation, and if you can't accept my appeal I completely understand. However I do think given the situation, my own age at the time of being banned, and the fact that I am now "Older and wiser" as some would say, it is worth a try to rejoin the server that I once held so close to my heart. Wow! We don't see bans this old appealed very often, only a couple of staff members were able to recall the circumstances of the ban and explain it to the rest of us.It's certainly been long enough, Unbanned. Hope to see you on the server sometime! |
