Reason for Ban: X-ray
When were you banned: 7.21.2025

Today, I was mining in the Nether for ancient debris under the lava on the Webbcraft server and was banned for using X-ray after Eliza removed all of my tools, debris, and elytra from my inventory.

I was not using any X-ray client or texture pack, and instead was doing a strategy of obtaining ancient debris from underneath the lava using my elytra. The strategy is to use an elytra with rockets to get ancient debris on the bottom of lava lakes. Attached is a YouTube video demonstrating how to do the technique:

The difference from what I have done was that I did not use a texture pack to change the texture of the ancient debris.

If this was against the rules, I apologize for doing so and will accept my ban. I also understand how this may have looked like an X-ray due to the amount of debris I obtained. For this, I will not use this technique anymore if it is deemed unfair and still breaks the rule of no x-ray. I also apologize for using this technique if it is determined that it gave me an unfair advantage over the rest of the players.

There was one instance I was tunneling into netherrack that may have possibly looked like X-ray, but I was only looking for a new lava lake, and decided that it was not worth digging all the way through, and elytra'd out of the tunnel. In any case, that this moment was recorded for evidence, take note I did not find any ancient debris during this, but I only changed direction once during the tunnel to mine downward to find lava lakes, as I noticed I was too high into the netherrack with my y coordinate to find any lakes.

Thank you so much for your time, and I hope I can hear back soon!

The ban wasn't for this method of ancient debris mining, but for the fact that you found some ancient debris that was hidden under netherrack. And even if we say that was pure luck with the debris, you mined quite a few diamonds this past week that were, again, hidden under other blocks, and not visible to the naked eye, unless you had xray vision. It was this that made your ban permanent, I only looked at ancient debris afterwards. Do you have anything to add to the appeal regarding this?

Yes I would, I did not find any ancient debris under netherrack, as I mentioned. Replay the video, if you recorded it, and you will see I did not find any ancient debris while tunneling. I purely tunneled to find a lava lake to for more ancient debris and instead gave up and elytra'd out. Please refer to any evidence you recorded of me to see this. As for the diamonds, I never did this as I have only ever gotten my diamonds from caves and do not strip mine, so I do not know how that is possible. I am not sure how these allegations were ever formed on me as I had never done anything like this.

I am not referring to last night's mining session, nor to the tunneling you did to find a lava lake.

Regarding the diamonds, you don't need to strip mine to x-ray, cave mining is also an option. Another 2 staff members confirmed my suspicions on your x-ray. If you have anything else to add, feel free

As it stands, the information provided in this appeal is not sufficient enough to discredit the evidence of the x-ray.

Until you can produce a valid explanation or apology, we have to deny this appeal for the time being.
