What gives you the right though?I mean you guys are just becoming so up yourself it is unreal... I mean what the hell... If you think about it you are losing alot of your players by adding this rule... You're going to ruin your own server! hahaha You guys just get thicker by the day. I just recently got banned for it. ever try to identify a burglar after he/she changes clothes? It makes things harder on the admins because people just keep changing names minute after minute . I no longer respond to people because i assume your someone i don't know...lol i can see the logic as you put it. |

Whoever banned you is completely wrong... The server prefer's you dont change your name, but if you do, there is no set punishment and no punishment should be made. I will try to get you unbanned. |

I'm really confused as to why Luigi didn't tell staff members as to why that rule is there! You're not supposed to be punished for it! It's meant to be there for your own safety. When you change you name, your balance and faction gets reset. Obviously, you don't want this. But if you do change your name you already have to live with the consequences. You shouldn't be banned. Unban this guy now. |

Think about it. Changing username is like changing identity. The only thing allowing other players to recognise who you were before is mojang's new UUID system which makes us have to search up the UUID of a player and then get all previous usernames. Frankly I believe it just creates more work for staff and less usability and interaction between players. Why should someone be allowed to change their username to create such hassles for everyone else? Who has the right to distort who's who? I believe players on my server shouldn't be subjected to this confusion of identities which is why username changing is forbidden. As monkeypawned stated, why should troublesome players be allowed to change identity to confuse and create more work for staff? These are just a few of the many problems that arise from the advent of username changing. Sure, there's nothing we can do to stop people from changing their username, but that rule is in place to show people who change their username that they are not welcome on the server. People who change their username simply for their own pleasure are selfish by not taking into consideration the inconvenience everyone else has to go through because of it. |

That being said, it shouldn't be punished directly. Spunty is completely right in the fact that the only punishment for that rule is the loss of some data still associated with your old username, as well as staff members not having to help recover this data. The server will register you as a new user as it doesn't recognise username changes. |

Ah, well then I will need to apologise for punishing you. As you know I am not 100% sure with the server punishments, I would've let it slip but I saw another staff member say he could get banned, I took that in consideration and then I saw how rude Guiness4 was getting, I decided to punish him in result.Sorry for any trouble caused. |
