I 'am very unclear as to what is going on with the map(reset)-old-new? Can we please get an explanation of what is going on? People claiming there are two maps yet i dont see two maps? How do we go from one map to the other? Please clarify this..... |

Can we claim new faction land without unclaiming old land?Will the old map be going away? If we are going to lose everything switching between the two, why bother allowing the old map to exist? Does "Nether" and "The End" go "new map ---> New nether/ End", or does it put us back in the OLD nether/ End? How soon will the new map have a store? Or do we use the old map? I see my balance carried over. I want to buy and sell stuff, but if I buy stuff on the old map, or get things to sell on the new, what then? What about all those 'warps' on the old map... will they go away to make room for the new map? I notice /bal still works for the balance. Are we going to have that taken away for the new land? If not, should we go ahead and mine the hell out of resources on the old map to sell for £'s we can then use on the new map? Or if not, are the people who paid real life money for £'s simply screwed from their real life cash? If the old map is staying, why was I screwed out of my inventory and Ender Chest? If the old map is *NOT* staying, could we please be told a date so factions can plan accordingly and set up new strongholds rather than "straddling" the two maps? Experience, inventory, ender chests... as I switch back and forth between the two maps, is my inventory destroyed? I didn't try it yet. On another server where a map was added, I had two sets of inventory (one was creative mode, the other was survival) and the inventory was never trashed or confused between them. And again... WHAT THE HELL my inventory and Ender chest? Could we get a roll-back to recover those if separate inventory is being maintained? Diamond blocks, nametags, slime blocks and so on were lost. So if the old map is staying, that was a pretty severe kick in the 'nads. If the old map is leaving, it would be VERY handy to inform factions that are currently planning to straddle the two maps. And if we get to keep our balance of £'s, I want to know so I can sell off my old-map stuff. And if we are NOT going to have use of our £'s on the new map, I want to know before I donate cash for £'s I'd be screwed out of. I *am* in favor of a new map. But... CONSEQUENCES! They happen, even if we don't consider them in advance. |

if you do /warp spawn you go to old map. if you do /spawn new map. i think, it worked for me a friend mailed me when he heard about this. |

The problem is that we do not know Luigi's goals or intentions, and how that impacts "OMFG I LOST MY ENDER CHEST AND INVENTORY!" It also does not indicate if we should be "mining to the point of breaking the old map for £'s with resources we *had* for cash and to spare to use on the new map". Or if "don't buy £'s with real cash now, because you won't get to use it on the new map."Fear Uncertainty Doubt FUD is the enemy. We need Luigi to slay this beast. Please. UPDATE: It looks like our old inventory is back, and it also appears the old world will be deleted "soon". I welcome this change. A word from Luigi to confirm the old world will be deleted "soon" would help. |

I want to know if were going to have both or one map? and if so do we get some of the things from the old or not? You know the important things that some of us have never had to deal with because we have never been in a map reset...at least i have never been in a map reset...Oh gawd oh mighty i'm still feeling the noob vibe in this game....lol |

Can we get a confirmed Luigi quote "Both maps are staying", which would let us dump all the stuff we can sell from the old map and have easy money on the new map? |

Ok here is the plan:The new map is to be transitioned in as the main map and for a time there will be two maps. Unfortunately there can only be one economy, which currently still resides in the old map. The server currency has no value in the new map and all balances be reset when the shop is copied over to the new map. Important warps will also be set in the new map (with a new pvp arena, parkour, wilderness, quarry). and hopefully the spawn town in the new map will be built up. Mobarena will also be transferred to the new map. The old map will still be available but will be eventually phased out, and will be removed when people stop playing on it. |

personally i will still spend a lot of time on old map for as long as it is there. however, when and if the old map is removed, can factions take any build with them? of course i would love to keep wolfwinds main bases. however my biggest concern is /warp wolftown and /warp wolfpalace. arguably the best builds on the server. and the palace IS the best build. i doubt anyone could argue that. both are by monkeypawned and im sure she, as much as i, would like to keep them. and if we are allowed to take them to new world, will we have to reset the warps? and if we do can we get advanced notice such that someone can be ready and waiting to set the new warps to the transferred buildings etc? also i share the same concerns as romaq. he put into words what i was unable to put to exact words. (thx romaq).pls respond luigi |

removed when people stop playing on it. Does that mean if multiple players never leave the old map.....You get what i'm saying. |

Yes, player builds can also be transferred to the new map along with the shop and other good builds such as the cathedral and Luigi's mansion. |

ty so much Luigi, that pretty much clears it for me....and ty Loki but i have to say the Cathedral is by far the most amazing of builds on the server....It just inspires creation.... :) |

Another question to raise on this, and only an answer from luigi please, most people on the server enjoy this as a full survival only map and I would like to know when the old map is deleted and this new map is no longer "new" will the donators get game mode 1? |
