Banned for raiding and griefing? pls help me!

Top_Lambo_624	Date sent: 2014/09/23 04:30:21 Hello server, my name is Top_Lambo_624 and on the 22/09/14 i was banned for griefing and raiding. Let me give you some background history on myself, i played a factions server for 2 years. This server averaged 500 people at a time and i was a MOD on the server. Raiding was a huge part of the server my friends taught me how to scatter and hybrid cannon, raiding bases that had up to 10 walls of diffrent protection. My irl friend wanted to start on a smaller factions server as we thought it would be much more fun. Apon coming on the server we made a basic set up and i went out to find and raid a base (as i would normaly do). I found this huge base that was claimable so i claimed it naturally and when i got inside it was a very nice base. When i tryed to access the chests i couldnt get in them, i was clueless on how i was suppose to raid a base that couldnt have chests opened. I thought for a while befor i came up with using hoppers. Surprisingly it worked and i managed to get some of the stuff from the base. Still not knowing that raiding was banned on the server i started to mine and steal some of the smooth sand stone for my own base because i only just started not realizing that it would be classified as griefing. Anyway the point of the story was that i didnt realize that you couldnt raid on the server and was so use to my old customs that i never thought to ask a staff member of check the rules at the spawn. In conclusion i am very, very sorry to the owner of the base! i did not understand! please forgive me. I am also sorry to their faction and anyone i have caused problems to. I had only played on the server for 1 day befor i was perm banned. Please unban me i promis that this problem will not happen again and i will further ask staff on the server if im unsure of somthing im about to do.
