Problems playing in creative. - Dear Luigi

Mumfie	Date sent: 2016/01/08 02:32:58 Hello. As most of you guys with creative have noticed, when you place a valuable block down in creative, you get an error saying you cannot do this in creative. This is an awful plugin, especially for people with interests in redstone creations using chests, hoppers, dispensers and you name it. I think the idea of this plugin is so that we will not spawn in items to people without creative. Now it's a great idea, but I can still just spawn in the items in creative, then go into survival and hand them out if I want to. Which makes the plugin pointless and just annoying. I can't even open my own chests while I'm in creative. Am I missing something? Does anyone here at all see the point of this except to annoy people with creative? If you guys agree. Dear Luigi, remove this terrible plugin. If you think I'm bullshitting, go into creative, spawn in 64 diamond blocks, then go into survival and throw them on the ground. POINTLESS.

Although we do belive that the Plugin has lowered the amount of creative items in the economy, paired with the tax Plugin; it has helped equalise the server hierarchy.

Chip, I get your Point but still, as Mumfie already said- the plugin doesn't Keep you from giving out items in survival, which makes it completely totally entirely pointless and just annoying :// #Liv out
MONKEYPAWNED	Date sent: 2016/01/08 18:17:40 It's a REMINDER : Its a friendly reminder that you should not put creative mode items inside chest where a raider or friend has easy access to it...This makes it still a viable safety feature for future bans. Placing items in a chest makes things complicated for Staff....I rather keep this in place then players crying they forgot they were in creative mode. I rather keep this in place... makes it very clear that you intended to give creative items away to said player(s) ....since you have to switch between creative and survival mode.

Because if someone wants to spawn in illegit items, they will do it. there is no point in protecting people from doing a rare mistake. also a raider having access to chests? LWC m8, and if you were to mention the hopper trick we still have claimed land, and if that is still a problem, you could always just place a chest below a chest for 100% safety.
Mumfie	Date sent: 2016/01/08 20:52:20 I think the cons outweights the pros in this situation, having a plugin that annoys players playing in creative for a reminder, you could just have an announcement that says"Hello dear creative players, don't spawn in illegit items!" I also want to point out that the only positive thing about this plugin is what you said Monkey, about it reminding people about giving out items. It still however doesnt make up for me not being able to place a hopper connecting to another hopper while in creative. Or anything valued items for that matter. Think about that, I wanted to make an auto smelter, I had to switch so many times out of creative, to survival to creative to get more items again etc, FUCKING annoying. Oh and yeah, any arguments to why this is such a good thing in the scenario I mentioned above? To REMIND me that I'm placing a hopper in creative? I'm fully fucking aware I'm building in creative. Edit - I noticed I swore a lot in this response, I am not mad or angry, it's my way of expressing myself.
luigiofthebakery Moderator	Date sent: 2016/01/09 02:47:31 The scenario you mentioned is a bug, it shouldn't stop you from shift-clicking a hopper, only right clicking it. Hoppers aren't considered valuable items so they should be able to be placed.
Sparqy	Date sent: 2016/01/09 06:02:49 I believe what he's trying to say is accessing said hopper or any other usable block, like a furnace or chest. You can't access them in Creative, and the plugin is quite redundant in retrospect.

Oh yeah, anyone having fun when making a beacon platform? :P It's like I get motivated to build something cool, I prepare myself, finally have the motivation, getting started aaaand then I have to jump between creative, survival and ofc activate fly. Painful, annoying, bad and not fun. Just remove this annoyance already... - Mumfie out.

"You can't place this in creative" No offense but this just makes people with ranks useless, inability to place any ore blocks, and open chests, furnaces, crafting benches, hoppers, and dispensers, also if people start thinking about this plugins/bug less people will buy ranks, causing a risk of webbcraft shutting down... ;(

luigiofthebakery Moderator	Date sent: 2016/01/18 08:03:42 Panda, you shouldn't have made it out of iron blocks, you could have just as easily made it out of stone slab blocks which look practically the same, just a shade lighter. Placing in excess of precious blocks such as iron, diamond, emerald or gold blocks which hold significant value is a huge risk for the economy if they get griefed, which is why you shouldn't be using them. They are considered OP items and it is against the rules for donators in creative mode to place excessive amounts of them, which is why their placement from creative mode has been restricted.
Mumfie	Date sent: 2016/01/18 23:35:32 Iron blocks, diamond blocks, gold blocks, I'm fine with them to be honest. But it's the issue with everything else I've mentioned above, it's really painful to play in creative and have a fun time doing it unless you just place normal blocks. Personally, the only interest I have to build in minecraft is redstone related stuff, automated stuff, and having to get an error each time I'm placing a dispencer or dropper makes it really hard to enjoy building anything at all.
