Greetings webbcrafters!

Today i want to suggest something that i think should of been done a long time ago. The subject revolves around the command /smite or /lightning.
I think this command should be removed from all players other than Luigi himself.
I believe this command only causes harm and or arguments that are unnecessary. I wish for this to be removed so we can move on and stop using this annoying command.

Thanks for letting me use your time to read this!

Feel free to add your opinions below. :)

-1. Alot of people have started "trolling" others with aniamls and /smite is the only way to eradicate them in a short matter of time before they destroy your house...

Jordan if someone is about to destroy your house you should contact a staff member. You can teleport them away from your base/house.

Larus, I am a staff member :) There is no set punishment for this, and teleporting them away does nothing, they only come back.

Yes, exactly sausageman, I want the command to stay.

If you're a staff member you can easily deal with them without using /smite, then you have access to loads of other commands.

No more than a donator larus, killall would be the only other way however again we dont have that.

it is very difficult for us to find out who is smiting unless we install the plugin "CommandWatcher", although it would COMPLETELY spam a staff's chat and so would be impractical.

/co lookup a:command u:chip_bruh t:5m

And you find out if chip used smite or broadcast in the last 5 minutes. Don't need CommandWatcher, just updated version of Core Protect. :)

This way staff members would be able to see who the abuser is and can punish them by either taking away the commands or mute, jail etc.

As far as I know, only donators can use /broadcast, I'm not 100% but it should make it quite easy to figure out who's doing it.

Its just the minority, e.g. bogan. that ruin donator ranks for people. Just being twats and pissing people off by using it so much and then they end up having it ruined for everyone else... /smite is very useful for removing huge amounts of spawned mobs. E.g. the villagers that were at spawn. Then you don't have to do /killall and ruin everyones animal farms or kill peoples horses............

Think about it. Then do nothing and shut up.

yes mumfie i am aware we need updated plugins, thanks for the info on a new command.

Luigi; You say that the user data files are too large to modify for new plugins, so why don't you just delete all userdata files when we have a new world? then you can surely update all the plugins and we'd actually be able to do stuff.
your argument may be that the updates do not bring sufficient need to be installed. sure, yes, we can just about work with what we have, although i dont see "just about can deal with it" as enough. a small task for a small (but very useful) improvement.

also, while you're at it, can you please see if you can update the server for more storage, us staff could use with having block data older than 900 (or so) hours.
thanks
