I have recently won the lottery and it was 79k. When i logged on today and checked my balance i had £89 when yesterday i have 79k. When i checked my taxes yesterday they were 4k. So how on earth did that happen please can someone explain. And what is the point in having the lottery if your money is just going to be taxed and you lose it all. |

^^^i guess the money was wiped at different times for different players.One hour ago i had 120 K left,and 50 mins ago my balance got wiped clean to $0. |

What drago said ^^ If you imagine having a long list of different data files (approximately 95,000 in this case) and you have to delete each one separately until they are all done; that's basically how the economy has been reset. Deleting all of the files at once would cause astronomical lag - if it'd even be possible, so they are deleted one by one, taking about 1 second to delete each file. Do the math and you'll see that it took about 24 hours (probably more like 26 hours) for all the files to be deleted. For luigi and I, we were quite high in the list so our money was reset pretty fast, you must have been much further down the list ellie. |
