i've noticed that there are 2 people who log in with all 3 of their accounts at the same time, and this can be the cause of some of the lag on the server. i mean, 6 extra afk accounts on at a time can cause lag. i've also noticed that these 2 people were recently banned, then unbanned for no reason (from what i have seen out of it all).  |

Ugh. Do you guys really need 3 accounts on at all times? It does lag the server, and it makes you all look bad. Not a broken rules but its pretty rude. It seems like you have both been a nuisance. |

Standing at spawners causes you to keep the chunk loaded. This is more data that the server has to handle. Spawning monsters also creates more mobs, meaning even more data. Having your alts on means it has to send that data to more 'people'- the alts, which don't even need the data. That means EVEN MORE data for the server to handle. More data = more lag. |

Since no one else has bothered to talk some truth, I will.Alt accounts are good. They make the server appear more active then it is, thus making new players feel more like they made a good decision by joining the server. Your claims that because they are just afk players taking up performance to the point that we lag is absolutely ridiculous. If you haven't noticed the player cap is 80, therfore the server is designed to handle up to 80 players. I also know for a fact, having used console and known the details of our hardware - our server can handle much more than just 80. Your claims that them being afk at mob farms is causing lag is also false. The mob count has been continuous relative to the chunk amount (average of 1.3 mobs per loaded chunk), With only small spikes where players are exploring. The server tps has also been continuous with little spikes here and there, which I highly doubt is connected to their alts. Leave them alone, they aren't causing lag at all. Dang_Henying, continue using your alts as you wish, unless you are using 3 alts all near different farms, use them as much as you want.Get this, instead of 3 different players, there are 3 of the same. What's the difference? This is like saying that if me and my brother are on but both afk, cause we're doing something or went to eat, since we're under same IP and everything, we're making lag? No. Piss off. I fully agree with Chip, after all, I'd rather go on a server with 40 players rather than with 5 players. Both are small so they have a close community but at least in the one with 40 I can talk to people. |

I'm changing my opinion. I agree with Matt and Chip here. I still don't get the need for 3 alts, but it seems to come with more pros than cons. |

chip, seriously? alts make the server look more active? that just makes it sound like you guys are hungry for players to make a small server look good. i mean, 90% of the players on at the time of the screenshot were afk anyway, (including the 6 accounts owned by 2 people).also, these guys seem very suspicious on server (also since they were both banned, then unbanned recently) |

but it's not more people playing it, it's the same two people as 6 different players.how would you feel if you logged in to a server that said 49 players were online, but those were only 7 players with 7 accounts each? it's not the (somewhat) large server you were expecting to play on. i came to this server because it's not too large, and i got what i expected because at the time, nobody had 3 accounts online at once |
