The Mushroom Co. Survival Server terms and conditions of DonationsBy Donating you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. You are Donating, without guarantee of gaining said Permissions, Ranks, or Items. It is possible you may not receive a Permission, Rank, or Item if felt you are not trusted, and may abuse. See our definition of in-game abuse here. All regular Donations are non-refundable, therefore: - Refunds will only be given if proven to be an accidental Double-Donation, or accidentally sent more than intended. - You may not receive a full refund of your money if you perform an action which endangers your possession of said Rank, Permission(s), or Item(s). - Cancellation of a Donation after a Rewarded Rank, Permission, or Item may result in severe punishment. The severity of the punishment is variable, and is decided by the staff team. A board of the Staff Team can be seen at /Spawn In-Game. • All Ranks and Donation amounts are subject to change at any time; and for any reason.* • All Permissions are subject to change or be removed at any time; and for any reason.* • By Receiving any Donation Rank, you are acknowledging that you are also subject to follow the Donator Rules as well as the Standard Rules. Failure to follow the Rules may result in some cases, the removal of your Permission(s) or Rank(s). Any other punishment may follow. • The staff team reserves the right to revoke any user's permission(s) or rank(s), at any time* if found to have broken the Donator Rules and / or sufficiently matched with our definition of In-Game abuse. • The staff team reserves the right to punish any user for any reason in any way deemed fit. This may be a mute, jail, temporary ban, or permanent ban. The punishment is completely variable depending on the deciding staff member. • In the case you Donate for another player: - You may not ask for the recipient's rank(s) or permission(s) to be removed, revoked or refunded. - If they receive a punishment to the point of their rank(s) or permission(s) being revoked or removed, you will not be granted a refund, or credit to gain the permission(s) or rank(s) yourself. I feel it should not be up to one deciding staff member being able to choose from any form of punishment they'd like. Being so, they might be having a bad day or some other sort of problem, which could cause hasty or overboard decisions. I would not mind if it was a panel of two or more staff members (admins) that make the decision. On another note, if someone was to pay $50 for Architect, expecting to then get the perms associated to that "donation" rank, and then is rejected and does not recive said perms for the $50, why would a refund then result in some form of "severe punishment? I dont walk into a restaurant, buy my food, and then let the employee tell me "We, the employees, dont think you need this food, sorry. You also wont get your money back, have a good day". No. That doesnt make any sense whatsoever. I do agree with having perms taken away if a player abuses, or goes against the rules set in place. Instead of taking someone's money, denying them access, and keeping the money (greedy much?), how about you tell them why they dont seem trustworthy or may abuse such perms, and then refund the money if its been paid, or tell them to save the money? That seems like the right thing to do. We understand you guys are admins. But, that does not make you guys the boss. You are here to help the server under Luigi, and make the server more enjoyable, not be part time dictators. You cant just make up some bogus remarks, take people's money and say thats final, sorry. I'd like what anyone would have to say about this. |

When you go into a restaurant and buy the food, you're making a payment. Not donation.That is the purpose of these DONATION terms and conditions. You Donate to the server, and as a thank you we give you a rank depending on how much you donated. Take a look at charities such as WWF, they have donation tears where if you DONATE towards saving a panda, they will send you a panda teddy bear. Donate some more money and they'll send you a panda teddy bear AND send you updates on how your panda is progressing, Etc. These terms and conditions are here as a reminder that this is a donation, and therefore at no legal rights to receive anything in return. Your point is not directly valid to these T's and C's because your point is based around a payment. |
