Here's a question I've been tossing around in my head. I see how +1's or -1's are important when applied to a staff application. Staff is a public position where you must be able to be respected by the community and some democratic input is needed. But, do +1's, that aren't by staff members, have any impact when it comes to ban appeals. Non-staff do not have the power to ban, or unban and in the end, it is all up to an admins discretion whether any action should be taken.On the other hand, if the community believes that a player should be allowed back, and up vote them enough, should the admins respect the communities will and take action? What are your thoughts? |

This is my beliefs and in no way am I speaking for the entire staff. I think that there is a major factor that contributes to a ban appeal, which is time. Unless the ban appeal is for major toxic players such as Harvey and the brookewalker, it is up to the discretion of the admins to unban a player. (Mainly chip, luigi, and james) I believe that time is the most important factor, with x-rayers the time I see often before unbanning is 7 days if they make a proper appeal and seem apologetic/sincere in their reasoning. |

Yes, +1s do affect ban appeals because they give an indication of if other players are willing to accept that person back into the community or not. |

Then why the hell was brooke unbanned? She's a horrible person that uses her age to manipulate people to her will, and people DEFINITELY -1ed that ban appeal. |

A lot of people +1ed her appeal as well. The votes are not the only thing taken into account, like Zed said, time is also a factor and she was banned far too long for uncertain reasons.However, the main reason for her unban was because her appeal was genuine and she deserved another chance. |

If that's the case, Luigi, then why the heck did you not unban Harvey!? He's been banned for longer than Brooke and got a lot more +1s than Brooke. Brooke has also gotten at least 3 chances and never changed. Harvey hasn't even gotten a second chance and by his recent posts he has changed tremendously. |

2 things Puff. Firstly, advertising another server is more severe than what Brooke did, and secondly if you were to look at Harvey's more recent comments, he's clearly stated that he prefers to be banned. |

Also harvey showed no remorse in his appeal and he has been given chances previously. |
