There was a thread a while back before I went away. The thread was to allow Citizens to use the command /ignore ....I wish to press this..

I wanted to know what you guys think of allowing Citizens to use the command /ignore to block out people who just don't know how to keep it civilized or harass the player.

I wanted to know if this was adopted or are new players still forced to read the vulgar / obscene language presented by the few. I ask because this reflects on the server as a whole. Swearing isn't an issue but there are some who fill the public chat with filth and are still yet to be discipline. The spamming of Caps is also a huge problem and is why I am forced to to min. my chat screen. Trying to visualize what I am building at the time through massive capital letters is hard for me as they fill the screen. I will not mention names but there are Staff Members who need to grow a back bone and at the very least firmly execute the rules and punish accordingly. Friends or not, no one should be above the rules.....not even your friends <===< hint / clan members <===< hint or STAFF <===< hint

Just wanted to know where we are standing on this Command.Any Info would be greatly appreciated.

I really don't know why people see caps as such a big deal. they're just recolored pixels.

I tried to give citizens ignore but luigi removed it because it's a donator command.
i explained that it is a moral obligation for all player to have it, his reply thus far is "they don't need /ignore to ignore the chat".

so ya, i dunno if its gonna happen, sorry

Thanks Chip... didn't know that was his response....I wish it were different. Can't blame a gurl for trying. : )
I do agree with you though, it truly is moral thing and not a special command just as a perk. It gives a player a sense of self security. An ability to fight against those few rats that just can't behave accordingly to the rules.
In the end no one can say we didn't ask the question. XD
Thanks again Chip

If everyone had /ignore then chat issues will just be ignored instead of being reported to a staff member to be dealt with.

So citizens are in charge of reporting issues in the chat, but donators don't have to worry about it?

I think it should be everybody or nobody gets it, not some people do and some people don't.
