probably gonna look biased like I'm trying to get my rank back, but here’s a taste of what the other staff are like:JAMESSKULLBLOOD - Complaint I joined the server today at around 3:20pm AEST. James and Vango were the only staff on, but Vango had to leave (which I'm fine with, he is very active anyway). First, I needed some help to see who built around my redstone contraption that i was pretty proud of. Since Vango had already left, i asked james. [CHAT] **EDEN <[Donator]+ ~Jordan> james… as you can see, james was clearly busy… with playing a minigame. I'm not concerned about this, because it wasn't too big of an issue. What came next was quite disturbing. A player joined and asked for help seeing why they were kicked from their faction. [CHAT] XxFlimFlamxX (formerly known as XxFlameGamexX) joined the game [CHAT] <[Default] XxFlimFlamxX> . [CHAT] <[Default] XxFlimFlamxX> Is there an admin? James didn't reply even though he clearly wasn't afk, so i took it upon myself to see if i could help. [CHAT] **EDEN <[Donator]+ ~Jordan> what do you need XxFlimFlamxX? Because the chat was busy, he didn't see it the first time. [CHAT] **EDEN <[Donator]+ ~Jordan> XxFlimFlamxX, what do you need? [CHAT] <[Default] XxFlimFlamxX> I was on an faction but i got kicked off and the owner of it said he didnt kick me [CHAT] **EDEN <[Donator]+ ~Jordan> What was the faction called? [CHAT] <[Default] XxFlimFlamxX> FireArmy I checked who was in the faction and checked who could have kicked him. I understand that we don't tolerate name changes, but i think the player surely deserves atleast some help. James is clearly struggling to find out what happened, so i help out.. [CHAT] *WolfWind <[Admin]~iiTheJames27ii> then i cannot help you out sorry XxFlimFlamxX james clearly forgets what his job is… ^ The player seems quite annoyed: [CHAT] <[Default] XxFlimFlamxX> So i just not get it back? so i decide to remind james how he can help.. [CHAT] *FireArmy <[Admin]~iiTheJames27ii> But XxFlimFlamxX i am not helping you with chests As you can see, this is clearly better staffing than what i did! great to see how everything is going since my demotion :) |

also, im not targeting james. i dont want him demoted- infact he is probably one of the best staff. this is just an example. |

I am sorry for ignoring you I know I am sorry just was busy and the chat was going fast.Edit Also, I really am sorry for ignoring you guys. I thought 2 other staff members was online while I was doing that, in fact I will check in logs to see if staff members was online when he needed help. Also, I could've not helped him at all since his username was changed. It up to the staff member if they help players who changed their username or not. All I did was help him get back in his faction, I did not get his chests because I did not see a reason why I had to help him unlocking every chest he had. |

Hey Jordan, I'm sure you're point could have validity to it. Despite this one instance of James being "busy" does not give sufficient backing to your point. He is one of the nicest people I know and would not leave anyone with out help or ignore them intentionally, the fact he has taken the time to apologise to you on this forum post and been polite when your complaint is based on one instance as well as aimed quite personal proves how genuine he is. It is quite hard to notice something in a fast moving chat (like you stated) especially when there is those bright and flashy nicknames which is how you probably got his attention when XxFlimFlamxX could not. James also did help to the best of his ability eventually considering he did break the rules regarding the name change. I have had problems myself with the plugins and staff were completely helpful. If this was a recurring issue then I could understand this post but it seems to not have been a problem based on the fact you helped him in the end which shows people who are not staff can still help other players out. So good job with that Jordan |

I think staff should be able to catch up with the chat. I see too many staff excuse it for "working on a big project" or being "in the middle of a minigame." If projects and games are more important, then they are better off being a regular player rather than a staff member. |

This complaint doesn't really have much material to it. The player changed their name and lost everything, staff are at no obligation to help players which break the rule.In fact helping him back into the faction would only encourage players to break the rule as there would clearly be no consequences. Presinus your comment is rather obnoxious, staff aren't your slaves. They volunteer to help you and are allowed to play and have fun too. |

Chip, you just have a bias against me. My comment above wasn't completely relevant to the topic, rather I was relating to other scenarios. Scenario: New guy comes on and starts burning things down and dropping racial slurs all over the chat. Mod is called, but he/she is in the middle of a minigame or big project. Mod never helps out. Mod uses every excuse under the sun for why they didn't help. |

That point right there is irrelevant, that and half the time I was on before while you were on you hadn't made an effort to see if anyone needed him and didn't leave spawn half the time. we’re talking about the game.. not real life. stop overcomplicating things to give yourself a point.this post is over, like i said i completely agree with harry in that staff shouldnt have to help a player who blatantly broke the rules. your a bit late to start an srgument when this post was over 2 days ago. |

Staff have /feed, so there is no need for survival. Staff have /give <username> book, so there is no need for education. Staffing comes first. |
