It seems that the past months, the staff team has had several issues within the staff team, and the community disliking those issues too. From this moment on i think we need to return to how the staff team used to run; Promotions done by Luigi and only Luigi (with possibly the exception of myself and Armz). Any staff rank is a serious rank, it gives an ordinary player the ability to control other players. Therefor they should be thoroughly thought out and considered against other applicants. Lately i have seen that it's not been taken as seriously, mainly because this whole "Head-admin promotes the players" started because i sorted out the staff team whilst i was the Owner, and continued to do so when i was demoted. I've been a Co-Owner figure for a while now, and realise that i was making those decisions as a Co-Owner, not as the Head-Admin. However, other staff have began to do what i did and it's clearly gone too far and they haven't thought it out like i did. I started this fiasco, and i'm going to end it. In order to protect my server, i am ordering that promotions should not be performed by anyone below Co-Owner. James and barry, don't take this personally. It isnt your fault, this is just a realisation that the staff team is falling apart and needs to be put in order. James, you are of course still the leader of the staff, and you can strongly suggest new members. Like I've always said, a strong staff team is a strong server. Order is being brought back to the Mushroom Co. I'm not going to watch it fall. |

I'm going to +1 this on behalf of half of the sever. While it will always be staff decisions that run the server, player's opinions do not feel valued anymore. That is a fact. There is no sense of democracy anymore and to maintain a happy player base that needs to change. If anyone wants to argue with this point they need to think really cleverly about whose benefit they are speaking from. |

I completely disagree. Luigi should not be the one to make promotions( well he can do what he wants since hes owner). We all know, Luigi is inactive.When he gets on, hes ALWAYS afk. Let's not sugarcoat it. Why hes inactive is none of my business and if he doesn't want to play he doesn't have to. The issue is, he's not on to see and experience players on how they behave and determine if they are suitable for staff. I personally think it should be a vote within the staff members as to who gets promoted, not just a one player decision. |

^ ok, so ima be serious now. if im as active as i am NOW, which is like 1 to 3 hours a day, usually missing 1-2 days sometimes, im not getting promoted.but, i have to recomend that instead of demoting me and leaving the timezone i sometimes covered COMPLETELY empty, you should promote Brittnee (if your not gonna promote me lmao). She is online alot. usually from like 12 to 8pm AEST which is a time zone only partially covered by susan. to fit in new staff members like both barry and pheo, i reccomend that there is another line added to the staff board, OR, at the least, 2 more admins that fill the gap next to luigi, armz and chip. i think that generally, the staff team is great. they do their job well. but i think you also need to spread them out. i know alot of staff stay on for sometimes over 8 hours a day, and especially considering the ages of staff (which isnt an issue, they are mature) they should have more time to spend on studies. I think that no more than 2 staff is needed in any specific timezone. of course staff can still come online to help out and also play, because they are players too, but i reccomend that each staff member has a dedicated time where they should be online. for example: shad 12am to 2am ck 2am to 4am etc.. of course staff can still come on in different times but they should be dedicated to a certain time and can say in staff chat if they cant be on at that time so someone else can take their spot for the day. 2 players who would be exceptionally great staff members are Walkerbite2012 and FasterAndFurious. I know faster isnt running for staff at the moment, but if she had some support to convince her to make an application (because she doesnt trust herself, which i think is silly lmao) she would be a great staff member again. the time zone that they are in vastly lacks of staff members. in fact, now that i was demoted i had to ask other staff to come on to mute spammers because none were on at the time. |

There was only one open spot so I don't get why two people were promoted, it's not like there seems to be a shortage of staff in those timezones. Vango only resigned yesterday and these promotions were rushed. It's as though members of staff are rushing to promote their own candidates as soon as someone resigns. |

That's exactly my point luigi :/I promoted Pheo so that i could at least try to make something right by the community and himself, I didn't demote Barry because that's a cruel move. The previous decision made (to promote barry) was extremely unfair and honestly it was the wrong one. At least the 2 new trial moderators are covering timezones which need more attention. |

Chad and I handled US timezones just the 2 of us before zed, reki, ross, and loki got staff and before ace and james started getting active again. Now we have 7 active staff from us when only 2 was needed xD |
