Minecraft mobs are intended to be genderless, but that just ain't right.A cow is a female, never a male. MC cattle are female. Only female chickens can lay eggs. MC chickens are female. A female horses and a male donkeys produce a mule, while female donkeys with male horses produce a hinny. MC has mules, but no hinnies. MC horses are all female, as the donkeys are all male. Illuminati confirmed. |

The chicken could be laying the fertile egg and it is hatching so fast that we don't see it because think we don't actually see the chicken lay the unfertilized eggs they just pop in to existence. Or these types of chickens are a exception to the rule like platypuses .Also Steve is genderless but they added Alex which is clearly a female so does this make Steve a male? |

Steve has a moustache... Females don't..Alex is a unisex name, and Alex doesn't have any traits unique to a female. Steve is clearly a male, but I'm unsure about Alex. |

I actually never notice notice that Steve had a facial hair I though it was Steve's nose and Steve's mouth and technically females can grow facial hair due to hormonal imbalances or a rare genetic disorder called hypertrichosis. |
