Secret Stalker Sign Up

Since many of you said you would like to participate in Secret Stalker, I have now made this sign up thread.

First, the rules/how it works:

If you sign up, you will be randomly matched with someone else to give a present to who has also signed up. The person you are matched with will not be the same person giving you a gift. You will then have until October 29 to give your present to me (tyranitar140hp) in game to be stored in a chest for the recipient. Then, starting October 31st I will give out the presents when players are on to receive them.

If you do not give me your gift by October 29, you will not be able to give or receive a gift. If the person you are gifting cannot receive their gift, I will either give your gift to another person who can receive a gift or offer to return the gift.

You must also sign up by October 23 to be garunteed a spot.

While doing something spooky/creepy is part of the theme of this exchange, please keep it appropriate, especially if you do not know the person you are gifting. Also, please do not just give your person garbage items. Sure, you can throw in stacks of rotten flesh, spider eyes, etc, but please be considerate and also include something of value of at least £50.

If you do not think you can comply with the above rules, please refrain from signing up.

To sign up, please reply to this thread by October 23 with the following format (you can see my reply for an example):

[PlayerInGameName]
[SignUpNumber]

*Note that your sign up number should just be the next number after the last sign up posted.

*Also note that if there are an odd number of signups I will drop myself in order to create even pairs.

This signup thread will be closed in approximately 24 hours so please sign up soon if you are planning to participate.

Also, once the signup closes, I will be randomly pairing people and the using the /mail feature in game to send you the name of the player you are gifting, so keep an eye out for that in your mail on the 23rd and 24th.

If no one else signs up after me or I haven't signed up in time you can just drop me from the list in order to keep the pairs even. You suggested this idea so you should take part in it.

I've send mail to all of you telling you who you are gifting. In case you are unclear, the name of the player should be the last word/name in the sentence I mailed you.

Let me know when you have your gift ready, I have chests for you to stow them in. I am afk a lot so keep that in mind.

Miss Awesome, as great of an idea as that might be, I already have most of the items I need and I'm new to the server so I would never try a jerk move like that that would make everyone hate me.

As I think I stated in the rules, the only scenario in which I might keep a gift is if someone is unable to receive their gift and the gift giver does not want the gift back when I offer it back.

Of course, if someone decides to gift someone else a stack of beacons, a few might go missing =)
