Hello Luigi and Admin Staff, I would like to suggest that on top of your donating ranks, you add dollar amounts to certain commands. Where I am going with this, is for instance I would donate say $15 for a few commands and or abilities of my choosing. For example for $8 - 13 maybe allow people to pick five commands / abilities from a list. Such as; Write warps on signs Formatting on signs /setwarp /spawner /ignore For $13-18 dollars allow people to pick 7 or 8 commands . Like I said I would donate if I could pick my commands / abilities. I do not want to donate for the sake of getting a special title or being able to have fancy colours in my name. Of course if you were to implement this form of donating, certain commands would have to be omitted from the list, in order to keep it fair for the people that have already donated for their donator ranks. For example some omitted commands that only donator ranks have, could be. /kill /give /kick /godmode I believe this idea would help pull more money in, to help offset the server cost. I have a more in-depth plan for this kind of donating. Above is just a short out line to get my point across. This is already done with ranks. As VIP, VIP+, Builder, Donator and Donator+. If you are suggesting we need to pay on top of those ranks then the rank system will be a bit confusing.Also on an admin side adding these commands to individuals will be longer than just adding to a simple rank. I personally don't mind paying extra (as I will be paying monthly anyway), but some other players will be upset for paying even more. |

KGEvans,That's the best part about this system. There is no rank. I do not want a rank, I just simply want to pick a few commands from a list and pay my money. I would rather choose 5 or so commands. Also with this system you do not have to remove any donator ranks that have already been purchased. People can still donate to get the VIP, VIP+ and so on with all its extras perks. There is no extra paying for people who have already donated. No monthly cost, just a one time fee for a few commands. Molson33 |

The problem with this is that it would create confusion among ranks. If what you're suggesting became possible, each user would get different permissions depending on the ones they chose when they donated. This means multiple people of the same rank would have different permissions, and other people won't be able to tell the permissions someone has based on their rank. They won't be able to be placed in the rank hierarchy, which would cause confusion. As some permissions and commands have more value, people might get envious if they are the same rank, wanting the same permissions (equality). |
