I have noticed that each forum category has an whole heap of topics that are all listed when you enter the category. Would it be better if multiple pages were used that could have maybe around 30 topics on each page, and if you wanted to view older topics you could go to the next page.
This would increase the speed of loading the list of topics in a category, but might make it harder to find an old post that would be hidden on an unknown page, so you would have to navigate back through the pages to find it.
Let me know if this idea should be implemented, and if so, how many topics should be shown on each page? |

This is just a small forum so it's not really necessary, but much larger forums use this as they have way more posts which can't all possibly be listed on the same page.
With this website, as the amount of posts in each category increases I don't think it'll be able to handle much more than 1000 posts on the same page. Currently the moderator applications section has the most with 332, so I think we're still quite far off until it starts becoming a problem. |

When on the list of topics do ctrl+f and type your username, it will show all the posts and latest replies you made in that category. |

I approve of subforums as I usually am deterred from searching down the list so I usually only look at topics at the top of the list. I dunno how you would like to organise things, but I prefer things in handy categories.
An example of what I'm thinking is in suggestions there could be approved where all the suggestions that have been implemented could go in. A kind of archive for people if they are interested in what the community has added rather than what the staff has just added. |

You still have to lead every single topic anyway to find the old ones, doesn't make a difference if its, might as well have pages so the forum runs more smoothly

One other thing. How about users have the option of sorting the topics by, for example either most recently posted/most recent replies? By the way, +1. |
