The all mighty caps rule.... Something we all have enforced - But why?
Okay, its shouting, but still, in my opinion as long as its not excessive it should be allowed.
Maybe a sentence or two with full caps, just not every single line.
I understand it cocks up the chat but I dont see how a couple of lines of caps can hurt anyone, as long as its not insulting anyone, etc. |

In my opinion, the caps rule should depend on what context you use it in e.g. Spamming should be against the rules without caps but it makes it worse with caps. If it's for a joke or something it shouldn't be taken as seriously as it should have been with a spammer. |

If a sentence is all caps (or even worse every odd letter) it will be considered as spam as it is quite annoying and is only used really to annoy people. Most of the time people will jokingly say caps if you just do a couple of words in caps.
In short caps are allowed if you use them responsibly. |

The caps rule is exactly that: as long as it's not excessive it's allowed.
If you look at the rule board, there is no rule explicitly for caps. It comes under rule 8, spamming, as excessive caps is considered spam. |
