To answer that question Tom, Ross placed it, Pheo let me know about it and he'd said he'd check it if it was a server. It turned out to be an ip and i hadnt seen Ross to confront him about it. |

i didn't actually do anything to mumfie.someone else actually doxxed him. but i gave them the go-ahead to do it. this is not ruben's IP everyone, this is actually a VPN that he was using to spam join the server last night, simply to cause a riot. none of your private information has been released. |

But what if it was his personal IP and not a VPN, then you would have violated his privacy.That's why it's wrong to place it on a sign at a public warp, regardless if it's a vpn or not. |

I questioned Ross about it and he told me that he knew it was not his real IP and needed to note it down somewhere so that he could look out for new players with the same one.He's acknowledged that it was silly to type it in-game, and apologised for disappointing me. Could I point out that this wouldn't have happened if Ruben didn't harass the server by using stolen accounts to get online? Kinda brought it on yourself mate.. |

What's so private about an IP number? Those things are super easy to figure out from what I heard. |

Actual IP or VPN aside this is not behavior of staff. It should have been handled by the rules that govern the server. The rules are there to prevent situations that might cause real world consequences. Chip I would have thought you better then to insight this kind of behavior... I 'am clearly wrong. |

Although I know ross wouldnt do this, it seems łike it was pretty deliberate with the signs all pointing to it. Was the warp very obvious? |
