Animal Art Commissions!

Heyo, everyone! Recently I showed some of my art on that "Share Your Artwork" topic and I got a couple requests in-game from players to draw them animals and I did. I decided to make this topic to see if anyone else would like me to draw them an animal in the style I use.

If you want one just leave a reply telling me what animal you want me to draw and if you want it male or female.

*EDIT* I now do these for free. I don't have a need for in-game money, so I'll just do them for free. Besides, They're pretty fun to do and give me some practice.

*EDIT 2* I got Paint Tool Sai, so now they will be drawn in that instead of MS Paint.

Ok I'm sorry, but I want a male cat wearing a crown with the proxima flag in the background. Plz also could you make the crown say michael9999995? Or maybe just mike/michael? Whatever works.

Sweet! I didn't actually think I would get this many requests! I've added you to the list after Tye. You're my third request so yours is free as well. All I need from you is for you to show me the Proxima flag. Is there a warp that I can go to to see it? Also, words are kinda hard to draw in MS Paint, but I will see what I can do!

*edit* Nevermind about needing the flag. I think I found it. Is it orange with a black fade on the top with a red cross and a sun on it?

Hey puff with your drawing were you just good at it or was it a skill you got if it was a skill any chance can I see some of your first artistic pieces even if its your first ms paints . If you don't want to show I completely understand. I'm just wondering because I'm trying to develop drawing as a skill and frankly i'm terrible at it and getting frustrated.I just need some inspiration of a bad to good. (also curious about your firsts in general)

I started drawing back in about 2012-2013, and back then my drawings were complete garbage (at least to present me), but over time I just kept drawing and eventually got to where I am now. I can still improve on a lot as I don't draw as much as I really should. All it takes is a lot of practice and eventually you get good at it. What I sometimes do is look at other people's techniques and see how they draw for inspiration.

Even just looking at some of the stuff I drew recently I'll notice little things I should have done differently, but you know what they say "You're your biggest critic". So what I do is learn from my mistakes and do it better the next time.

I like this quote that a character from my favorite MLP fanfiction said when talking about her paintings; "The secret is to stop trying so hard to make it perfect. I just kinda turn my brain off, and let it flow." -Sunny Meadows from The Keepers of Discord. She started out awful, but the more she did it the better she got at it.

Here's a few of my older drawings.

This first one is from July of 2013. Notice how the hand is backwards. I didn't notice until it was finished. I also didn't notice that I had the sketchpad upside down until I was about halfway through the drawing.

This second one is from sometime in 2014. It's much better than the last one, but in my opinion is still really garbage. Especially in how I colored it. I don't know what I was thinking when I colored this one. The lines have no form or anything.

I have older drawings from when I first started back in early 2012, but they are so bad that I don't really want to show them. Just trust me, they're complete trash.

So yeah, sorry for the long post, but that's just my thoughts when it comes to drawing and really anything in general. Hope it helped a little bit :)

To me its helpful to compare my art work to other peoples when they first started out like I am because when I compare mine to someone who is very good at it. It makes me hate my stuff more.

I wish I had more time to practice drawing but I've been busy with things.

@Presinus - I did kinda word that wrong, I know humans are animals, but by animals I was meaning stuff other than humans.

@Pixelpeeps13 - I can do that! I haven't really decided on an in-game price for these yet, so I'll just make yours for free as well even though you're the fourth request. Would you like a male or female puppy?

Here's your Proxima Cat, Mike! The flag in the background isn't as good as it could be, but it's kinda difficult to do a fade in MS Paint. I hope you like it!

Hey, sorry these last few requests are taking a while. I just got Paint Tool Sai and I'm trying to get the hang of it. Stuff looks sooo much better in it, but it takes a little longer to draw them. I'm guessing it will get quicker once I get used to Paint Tool Sai. Sorry about the wait.

Are you able to make animals look more aggressive? They seem smiley and glossy-eyed. I'd like to place an order, but I don't want it looking so happy-go-lucky.

@Pheo I know you requested yours first, but I really suck at drawing trees, so I'm waiting until I get more tree practice to do yours.

@Presinus I can, but I think I'm gonna take a break from doing requests for a little bit. I just got Pokemon UltraMoon so most of my free time will be taken by that for now. I also have a lot of my own ideas for drawings that I want to get done at the moment.
