CaptainSpaceSheep	Date sent: 2018/03/29 20:29:41 1. the new spawn is horrible. it divides the community and village into four different areas and realistically, no one actually goes to them because of how far out they . are. id be willing to come back and help with a new one. this seems like a small point but realistically the spawn is a meeting place for the whole server, and without a good one, people can be easily divided. 2. you should really unban some people like wones, as that would bring a huge chunk of the community back to the server. like i said in another post, its a domino effect. when wones left. pretty much all of wones n co left, when they left, alpaca left, and when alpaca left i left too. 3. a good idea would be to put some resources into training staff better, especially about toxicity, as rarely there are big griefs anymore. the way they have been handling it lately is horrible, and evidently tearing the server apart. they need to understand that people are different, and that banning one of the two kinds of people wont fix the issue. most of the time it was just debates that ended up with staff taking it the wrong way, but sometimes it was toxicity and staff would immediately ban someone. this isnt right. you should warn the player and let them know that what they are doing can either go to private or faction chat, tone it down, or they will be punished eventually (not straight away) 4. -there should really be some new aspects introduced to the server, and although some people like it the way it is, realistically now is the time to change up a few of the things about the server. maybe add in a minigame or two (actual minigames! plugins or command blocks). like presinus suggested, actually listen to the suggetions! maybe make a poll for them to see who wants them, dont just completely deny the idea straight away. these things certainly wont bring back everyone who left, but it may bring back some, and more importantly, drive more new players towards the server. ill be adding new points to this every now and again.

Also I would like to add that I think we should start out with a clean slate with the staff board. There are way better candidates than the current staff who are half the time not even there. We should also reintroduce the Olympics. To increase collaboration between the factions. And i personally think that we should add something crazy like a casino gambling plugin, and I'll be able to rebuild new vegas, or something like a minecart as a car plugin to drive to nearby towns and stuff. We should put in more cool plugins. But yeah, great points jordan!

It's just my opinions though so don't get triggered on me or anything :p The new spawn: I see where you're coming from, and I agree somewhat. Server's only really need a small spawn. Making it too big complicates things. Most of the spawns before this one only had one exit and about a 20 block walk to the spawn village. But I really don't think it's that big of a deal. I still see people hanging out around spawn talking, trading, etc. I don't think this is an extremely major issue like some of the other points you've made so I won't linger on it for too long, but I'd say just wait for the new spawn. It gets replaced every few months. TLDR: It would help but not much,Unless somebody is generous enough to build a decent one it won't happen for another 2 or 3 months. we'd rather spread our resources in more major problems. Unbanning Wones/Others: I understand when people say that he created drama and the drama attracted players to the server. But we can't just unban him because of that. He broke the rules (multiple times...) and got punished for it. If he'd like he can make a new appeal or bump his old one and apologize, then it can be CONSIDERED. Training staff better: I'll assume you're talking about our newest staff members, Viale and Randito, when it comes to toxicity. I agree when they first became staff they were a little strict but Loki and I have been working with them to improve ever since. And I think they've both made a lot of progress. If you have any recent examples of them being overly strict, abusive, etc feel free to message me on discord or skype and I'll have a chat with them about it. I made a comment on one of alpaca's posts about Spam and talked about how it shouldn't be "Punish people who do this and don't punish people who do this". It's a more complicated system than that. The situation and severity of the problem can vary. I've personally started teaching that to the mods and they understand it well now. and like I mentioned earlier, if you think they're doing something wrong you can message me about it or you can message them personally. Or just reply here if you'd like. New Mini-games and plugins: I completely agree. Remember how a couple years ago we had that mob arena plugin? We had to remove it due to it being incompatible with newer versions of minecraft if I remember correctly, but it would be super cool to see a similar plugin come back. And even more with mini-games we've never had before too! One final note, With Armz and Chip being extremely inactive and Luigi being busy with university a lot of the work is left purely up to Loki. Us staff help him to the best of our ability but some things only owners can do, such as modifying plugins, new ranks and other technical changes to the server. With only one person working on that stuff it will take longer than the things we can improve in-game.
Pheonix2000ad	Date sent: 2018/03/30 19:35:52 As a player who left the server (asked to be banned by Shad) I'll try give my honest opinion without showing bias: The spawn: i agree its lacking, i liked the old spawn because there were always people bouncing about and you could always find people. This new spawn seems empty and i hate that the 4 exits are boxed off by massive castles and builds. WonesNCO: I understand as far as the staff see, he was toxic and got his punishment. However: the sort of impact he had on the server spans a lot further. You are only judging the server by the player count and not community when in all honesty the forums seem almost dead and so does the discord except for a few accounts. I get that you need to uphold your values although if agreed and negotiated well, the only bad thing that could happen is you have to re-ban them all a day later. I'd just like to add that despite what staff think, non of us banned people hate the server. It was my favourite place to hang out online and meet new people, the thing that i hate is watching what was so enjoyable die. It had a strong community and i think that banning some members really killed it off. A lot of your staff agree deep down and that is why you have lost their activity. If the server became more lively i guarantee you would see all of them begin to pop back up. Staff: This in my opinion is unnegotiable. You as staff are responsible for the servers image and how it treats the players. Shad needs to take lead on this: he is always polite and answers fully and helpful no matter what. The staff team have an array of egos that think its important to maintain this kid friendly attitude even though the numbers have literally proved that this over management has harmed the server. I see constant passive-aggressive sarcastic replies from people like Randal and Viale on top of an over-sensitivity about caps and spam. I appreciate it in Loki's jurisdiction what vibe he wants his server to have and who should be staff but i feel like he harmed the servers one unique feature of 'free speech' the appointment of Viale and Randal have brought the mental age of the server down and they treat everyone like idiots. I don't want to be overly critical but V and R just seem like loki's mates who sucked up to him enough of the server and bedwars that they are now mods. Neither had overwhelmingly positive support and in the old vibe of the server that the community loved i could just never see them getting anywhere near to staff positions. Im not going to cry and scream for Vi and Randal's demotion as i realize they care about the server and did a lot to get where they are. But you guys need to appreciate what made this server what it is and that making big changes to the vibe upsets the player base which is the anti-purpose of your role I do not want mush to die and i want to be able to spend more of my time on there. Just the server right now isn't what i would associate with Mush anymore. I realise Ruben and I are seen as the bad guys but it wasn't what we wanted. You decided you didn't want 'factions (ironically) like wonesnco on your server. Me and Ruben agreed that the community was what made Mush and we only wanted to supply players with that once more and give them somewhere to enjoy. What we were doing was scummy but until we got bored of making it we had 30 players at points when you only had 6. To me that shows what the players want and i just want you to consider that. Before you tell me it was only because of my advertising you have to realise that I can not physically force anyone to play on different servers, the fact that we got such good activity was the players showing the sort of game they wanted to play. If any staff read this, i would appreciate their honest reply. Other than Shad all we seem to get is a passive aggressive sarcastic response when some of us have literally paid to keep this server open.

I think the original spawn needed work, but I didn't want to see it crash and burn, only to be replaced by a large pretty pit of loneliness. 2. I learned all social groups are important in a community. Think about Yellowstone park after wolves were extripated, then reintroduced. 3. I agree on that one. Permbans should be treated like ejector seats in a supersonic fighter jet; only use it if it's the absolute only thing that could possibly be done. 4. I'm glad someone sees it the way I do.

I don’t think it has affected the server to where new players are leaving because spawn sucks and its confusing. I much prefer the old spawn more and it matches the server much more. All I have is personal bias towards the new spawn. I completely agree with Presinus on this one. 2) I agree the downfall of WonesNCo affected the server, but what what I really think is that staff showed there true colors during that time. They wanted us gone and made no effort to make us stay or work with us in any way. If they saw what would a month later, I think they would of probably done their job better. Staff watched Karbs build 2 wither things and made no effort to stop, which to this day agrivates me and I wish the staff that did nothing would be punished in some way. 3) Couldn’t agree more. 4) I think cool new plugins would be so fun and could attract new players, but nothing too crazy where the actual gameplay would be affected. 5?) The ignorance i’ve seen from randito and ckvoss is extremely frustrating. They can not take critism at all and immediately fight back. It’s so immature and annoying that they can get away with acting like that.

We just became friends with loki who happened to be on the staff team. I was doing what I usually do in life which is helping people and becoming friends with them. It may come across as sucking up to people but it truly isn’t. Vi and I have been working on being more lenient with chat. We can’t help it where we were first taught to be overly strict but we are getting better thanks to the other staff. Side note: I haven’t played bedwars in over half a year lmao, that part of your argument is irrelevant. I agree that there could be a better spawn but it was the only one finished by the time that luigi had given for it to be done by so we went with it. In due time if we decide that we want to change the spawn to a fully finished build then we will do that. On the topic of WonesNCo, there were players in it that broke the rules which resulted in a permanent banishment from the server. As with all people that get permanently banned they must make a ban appeal. So far I have yet to see a ban appeal from any of them this last time they got banned. Nothing can be done about that unless they appeal and give a sincere appeal. In response to alpaca... What exactly have I been ignorant of? Can you please elaborate this so that I can do my best to fix this so I know how to improve? It would be greatly appreciated.

He hated me and other players and then when he started to run for mod he said sorry to me after I gave him a +1, and was acting completely different Maybe ignorant was not tue right word, but you completely fail to address issues and you just fight back, denying almost everything. Lots of people have really good points, and I’ll attempt to address all of the comments that I feel I should put my input into. 1) I completely agree with all of the points made regarding the new spawn. It’s large and doesn’t really fit our small community very well. I also agree that there should be warps, and for newer players maybe a randomized /wild command. I joined almost a year ago and it took quite awhile to find somewhere that wasn’t already claimed, and to get out of the spawn area, so maybe that should be implemented? 2) I think if WonesNCo appealed that more people would feel more comfortable talking about unbanning them, but like many staff have said, unless they submit appeals they can’t just be unbanned. However, I also agree that after they were banned, many players quit altogether. 3) I feel like the staff have addressed this well, but I do think training needs to be done more thoroughly and that ALL staff, no matter how long they’ve been on the team, should be open to critism from the playerbase. And with that, the playerbase has to understand that the staff need time to correct their behaviors. 4) I 100% agree! New ideas, plugins, etc. would be AMAZING! It’d bring back players and bring more players to our community. Plus, plugins making things easier for brand new players (like randomized /wild commands that I mentioned earlier) would make new players stay longer because they wouldn’t be spending an ungodly amount of time to find somewhere they can even begin at. 5) Something that I’ve noticed is that whenever suggestions with multiple parts are made, if staff are named, they really just focus on complaints towards them and not the entire post. Maybe that’s something that the team as a whole can work on - learning from critism and then also confronting the rest of the post. I don’t mean to cause anyone irritation or cause offensive. These are just my personal opinions that anyone and everyone are free to agree or disagree with :)
Tye	Date sent: 2018/04/03 21:36:32 actually correction about the new spawn, it wasnt meant to be a spawn :P. duco made it to be a huge pvp arena, but some staff copied and pasted, then edited it to be a spawn.
