Hello everyone, I will have speed running at /warp JamesMaze starting very soon. I am making this post to give some details about the speed running.You may only speed run once a week. The rules for the speed running is as follows: 1. No cheating. 2. Must be in survival mode at all times. 3. Only 1 player can speed run at a time. 4. Only up to 2 players can speed run a day. (I may allow more players to speed run a day, it just depending on how I feel) 5. I cannot help you in any of the mazes. 6. If it takes longer then 6 hours, I will stop the speed run. It shouldn't take 6 hours as the average time for 1 player to do the speed run is 3 Hours 5 Minutes and 8 Seconds (Only exception to this is if you are on maze 100) 7. Cannot break anything in any of the mazes. 8. The time will keep going even if you say "Be right back" or something along them lines. 9. If I leave the game at any point of time during the speed run, you are to keep doing the speed run, as I will NOT stop the timer just because I left the game. 10. Once you begin the speed run, you cannot stop the speed run. That is it for the rules. Now I am gonna go over some abilities you will have during the speed run. 1. Maze Skip. You will be given 2 maze skip ability. The maze skip ability can only done before you enter the maze. If you use 1 maze skip then I will add 2 minutes to the overall time. If you use the second maze skip then I will add 4 minutes to the overall time. Meaning, if you use both a total of 6 minutes will be added. Cannot use on Mazes 36 or 100. 2. Only have 1 of this ability, I will go to the end of the maze and let you see my game tag so you can find the exit a bit more easier. No time will be added on to do use this ability. Cannot use on Mazes 36 or 100. 3. Time Freeze. Only have 1 of this ability. Can only be use at the start of a maze. I will stop the timer for the entire maze you are on. To make this less op, I will do the maze once you finish the maze and add my time that I gotten from the maze to your overall time. Cannot use on Mazes 36 or 100. 4. You will have Four 5 minutes breaks. These will happen after mazes 24, 49, 74, and 99. I will ask you if you wanna take a break before the start of the maze number. If you do not use a break then the time will be added to the next break chance, meaning if you do not use any breaks after maze 99 you could have up to 20 minutes of a break. If you are not back after the break is over, I will start the timer back so you better be back before the end of the break. 5. Get help ability. You will only have 1 of this ability. Get someone on the server to come help you (Cannot be staff members or me.) The player has to be on the server. This ability has to be used before the start of the maze you are on. That covers the abilities. Now the prizes, this is probably what many players wants to know, what prizes you will get. Well the prizes will be based on a Leader Board style, the Leader Board can only have up to 5 players. The Leader Board is Weekly meaning it resets every week and at the end of the week, the players will receive their prizes and a new Leader Board will begin. Everyone gets $2,000 for completing the speed run fully. (Once a month.) Leader Board Prizes now First Place gets Deal or No Deal ($2,000-$10,000), 20 Diamonds, and 20 Lottery Tickets. Second Place gets $1,500, 15 Diamonds, and 15 Lottery Tickets. Third Place gets $1,000, 10 Diamonds, and 10 Lottery Tickets. Fourth Place gets $500 Fifth Place gets $250 There you have it, the prizes. Everyone names will go up on a wall for speed runners, the wall will be updated to your fastest time you made. I will keep a book on everyone speed run times, the book will have everyone speed run attempt and everyone times they gotten for their speed run. Well I think that pretty much covers the speed running information. If you do /warp JamesMaze then you will see signs that explains this not as much in detail, but it is there. I also made a book explaining the speed running stuff as well, so if you want a book just ask me and I will give the book. Hope to see many players to do speed runs. |
