I've only been on the server since the 1.13 update so this may already be something that you've had on previous versions of the server, so it may be something that's already being planned.Whenever the user opens the tab to show current players, their name was the colour of their rank, so SkyBlue for Default, Light Blue for Architect, Red for Admin etc... Also a small suggestion - have Citizen and Citizen+ be a different shade of green? (I think this would make all the ranks visually different). Just an idea; let me know what you think. |

+1The only problem I see is for Donator+ which can change the colors of their prefix. Also, there are tons of ranks that look similar to Citizen that some are still used, for example: Citizen, Citizen+, Craig's Slave, the jarbled Citizen rank which isn't used, Toilet Cleaner, and a couple others. |

This would be pretty useful, not to mention very cool.If a player needed a donator to set a warp for them or a staff member to assist them they could easily pick them out in TAB. It would also make it very easy to spot your friends without having to search through /list or tab-fill their name. The issue would be putting it into action, do you know of a plugin that does this and what version of minecraft it's downloads are for? And as Tye brought up above me there are more ranks in use than color codes. Panseller - White Default - Light Blue Citizen - Green Citizen+ - Green Member - Light Green (with some normal green) Veteran - Gold (With some blue) VIP - Blue, Cyan, Light Red and Gold VIP+ - Same as VIP ^ Builder - Cyan Donator+ - Rainbow (also it can be customized by the player) Architect - Blue (with some cyan) Trial-Mod, Temp-Mod and Mod - Purple Temp-Admin and Admin - Light red Head-Admin - Gold Owner - Red These are all of the ranks currently "obtainable" (Doesn't include "special" ranks), not including prefixes. As you can see there are lots of ranks that share a color, or more notably have multiple colors. Prefixes are an entirely separate issue, would the TAB color be based on the rank or prefix a player has? |

I wasn't sure how many ranks there were; that could make it a little problematic to implement - possibly just do it for the most common ranks and just for the tab screen choose a colour for the ranks that can change the colour of their prefix. I think there's a way that it can be done in vanilla using the teams mechanic and commands but it's probably not too effective and would be annoying as you'd have to change what team someone was in whenever their rank changes. I'm pretty sure that in essentials there is a way to add prefixes and suffixes to the tab list; so it may be able to be done with this. I'd need to look into essentials to be sure though. There's probably loads of plugins that can allow you to edit the aesthetic of the tab list, I've looked at a couple but none seem to be updated to 1.13 yet. I'll keep an eye out on some forums and see if some get updated soon. |

We could classify the colors similar to the discord server, grouping ranks into a specific color (blue for donator.) |

That could work quite well. The only issue that I can think of with doing that is not everyone uses/ is on the discord, so they wouldn't know what the colours mean.However, I'm sure that they'd figure it out fairly quickly. Especially if the discord was advertised more. |

This has been accepted for staff members. since i couldn't figure out how to add the color to each rank but had to add it to each individual staff member |
