-1To start, using racial slurs without context isn't racism. It'd be racist if someone treated everyone of a certain race better or worse than others strictly because of their race. As a second point, this is something muting would be most appropriate for; not banning. Third point: why permanent? People can't learn from mistakes if they are gone forever. |

The reason for the ban was that they had joined the day before and were there just to troll. I could see from that first day that they had no good intentions of being on the server and so they were banned just like any default would have been if they had done the same Racism |

No Pyrrhus, racism would be more like saying all black people are superior to all white people.The word 'nigger' only refers to the black slaves, not the entire black population. (Black slaves are not a race) |

Of course he’d be instantly perma banned if staff were on, which I assume no one was. Anyways, our language has evolved to instead of saying the n word to ridicule someone, it’s more like saying “bro” or “friend.” It’s kind of a greeting term right now, but it is still widely used to ridicule others. I think it should be bannable based on the context and usage of the word. |
