Your in-game name:spacebois but I go as chrom. How old you are: 14. Your gender: Male. Have you been banned on any other servers? Yes once on Kohi for fly hacking and I highly regret it. Why do you think you should be a moderator? Although I haven’t been on this server for that long than other players I still love to play on this server and I would love to be moderator so I can be part of the server's staff team and help any players who are in need of assistance. What I would like to do as a staff member is to make the server feel more like a community as it is by hosting fun events like, the olympics,spleef tournaments, horse races, etc. Currently as a regular active player I’ve made a horse track and I've hosted some races on it before and the they were a lot of fun(R.I.P. Sniff). I can be immature at times but i’m trying restrain it and be a role model for others players. Overall, I hope I become mod on this server so I can make this server feel more like a community and be helpful to others. How long can you be active on the server every day? It depends as I'm going into high school which will be a step up so hopefully around 2 hours a day and hopefully 5 hours on the weekend. What country do you live in? United States. I will be honest with you Chrom, I almost had a stroke attempting to read this application. In the future, try and work on your general formatting and grammar within your application, as it truly has an effect on the reader's opinion of you. With that said, this application is bland, dull, and unimaginative. Do you actually think wanting to "help any players who are in need of assistance" is a valid reason for becoming a moderator? That may as well have been copied directly from a hundred other applications before yours, and is completely lacking variety. In addition to this, you go on to elaborate your reasoning with your alleged ability to "make the server feel more like a community as it is by, hosting fun events", which has little relevance to the application at hand. So you can host cute events; who cares, and how does that help you as a mod? Your further explanation on these events was a waste of my time, and has no impact on your ability to moderate well. In a similar fashion, you state that you can be immature at times, and I witness this often online. Yet, I must ask that, if you consider yourself immature, why would you apply for a staff position? While yes, it is great that you are working on becoming a more mature player in the future, why you chose apply while you still act as a child truly baffles me. I would say I appreciate you trying your best Chrom, but I do not think you did. In the future, wait until you can safely consider yourself a bit more mature, and tell us what actually applies to you becoming a moderator. -1 |

To what Olliver said, in what world does an imaginative application define the person's staffing ability? And isn't it a good thing when a mod wants to help players in need of assistance?To chrom, I can't respect a person who so easily resorts to boycotting to get his way. |

@Pres, while yes, a mod wanting to help players in need of assistance is definitely great, and overall a good quality, I think that in this situation that was the only credible and relevant reason for Chrom becoming a moderator in the application. Wanting to help players is a good thing, but you do not need mod to do so. My point being that, how has Chrom *actually* helped players in the past, and with what abilities and knowledge will they use to do so in the future.As well, it could be said that an imaginative staff application in no way is fully representative of a possible moderator's abilities, it simply is a defining feature of the app. I stand by my previous statement that many of the reasons within the application felt overused and commonplace, and I would've preferred a more detailed and original description of the positive reasons Chrom deserves mod. After my original statements, I have talked to Chrom and they seem to understand exactly what I was trying to convey, and I believe they will / already have made an honest attempt to improve their general behavior and application. |

As you said yourself, you are a bit immature at times, and that isn't always a bad thing, We wouldn't want to have super serious staff members who never do anything in chat except for giving out warnings. However I think it is something that you need to work on, because sometimes it'll get out of hand and you may break some rules.Your application also lacks details, I would like to know of any past staff experience you've had, how good you are with commands, what timezone you're in, maybe something on the server that you would try to change as a mod, the list goes on. I just feel like all you really said in your "Why do you think you should become a moderator" section was that you would build mini-games (which like your race track, can be done without being staff), and that you "want" to be staff. Abstain for now, I look forward to seeing you improve! |
