For a long time now, I’ve seen people confusingly post threads into wrong categories, because some threads don’t have a specific place to be posted, like asking for a permission back or a lost rank. I’ve came up with a set of subcategories to go into our current categories on the forums. Give some feedback on what you guys think should be the subcategories, if this suggestion does become a thing.

End note: In the future, I might modify and adjust these a bit, but im mainly wanting to see the community’s opinion on this idea. |

-1 the forums are way too inactive for such an expansion, and I like to search every category for new topics, and I don't wanna search 15 categories every time. |

I don't really like the idea, kind of what pres said above ^ but I think the first two are sort of reasonable minus whatever "Guides" is maybe adding in a place for "Part-Time Staff"

Yeah, to be honest it would be a bit spammy and take up a lot of the page, especially with descriptions for each category. Like pres said, it is gonna be a hassle to search through the forums with all these categories, so maybe only have a lost command and ban appeal category for Appeals like brain's suggesting. Also, you could implement pinned threads that show how mod apps and ban appeals are done, which would save room on the index and give more room for these categories. Also Grove, by guides, I meant like Loki's post that shown how to write a mod app, and other similar threads, which could all be put in there. |
