X-ray, is one of the most commited rule breaks on the server and most of the appeals are on xray hacks. I feel that this rule needs to be tougher as not many people have been sticking to no xray. I think instead of a 1 month ban it should be a 1 month and 30 day ban so people have more time to think about there actions and they are less likely to break the "no xray" rule again. |

The reason x-rays are so common is because a lot of new players (and even older players sometimes, sadly) think they can get away with it without being caught, since it seems like you'd be able to hide it pretty easily. Not every server checks for x-rays so there's a good chance they've done it dozens of times on other servers and think nothing of it at this point.X-ray bans are pretty severe already since it can be considered a hack (hacking is always a perm ban), but it can also just be a texture pack. X-ray bans can be 1 months, 2 months or perm depending on the severity of the x-ray (Somebody who only mines like 32 diamonds to make themselves armor and tools would only get 1 month opposed to somebody who went and got 100+ diamonds to use for themselves AND give to others and sell and such, who would get a perm ban). I think the current punishments are pretty fair, and don't need changing. |
