Enter the following commands:[/gamerule announceAdvancements false] [/gamerule maxEntityCramming 6] [/gamerule showDeathMessages false] Advancements are useless, uninteresting, and clutter chat. Death messages are used to spam or bypass mute (via naming the mob that's killing you). Nobody really needs to know you died anyway. Realistically, 6 is the ideal value to set maxEntityCramming. By default it's set to 24 which is crazy high and very laggy (lest we forget tastydj's turtles). Note: setting maxEntityCramming to 0 disables damage taken from crammed mobs. Setting it to 1 makes entities take damage simply by touching. Setting it to 5 or lower may cause crowded (but not crammed) entities to take damage. |

Death messages are helpful as they can be used as evidence if you lost your belongings due to a glitch. |

Achievements: +1. They'd be useful if we didn't have shops and warps making everything easier, but atm they're just clutter.Cramming: -1. 6 isn't a lot of mobs, which could make compacting mobs much harder. For example, animals would have to have larger pens and filling holes with pigmen for xp would be harder. Also, abuse of cramming is very rare and can be easily fixed by staff with splash harming potions. Death Messages: -0.5. Although I get that it can fill chat, it's helpful to know when a friend dies to help them or just to send "RIP" to seem friendly to new players. Also, what Sassy said. It's not a particularly big issue, though, and mute bypassing using it is hardly easy considering you need a name tags every time you do it and staff can ban for bypass as soon as the message goes out. |

Both achievements and death messages are enabled to add to the vanilla feel of the server, as for entity cramming we've been discussing decreasing it over the past week, although it won't help with the current chunk lag it will help with the normal TPS drops we had prior to 1.14 |

Shad, this is a server with warps and shops. There is no "vanilla feel" and it's definitely not added by achievements that take a few commands to complete. |

@SassyI was kind of on the fence about that one for that reason. It's a tradeoff between chat spam/cluttering, and knowing when and how someone died. @Techy Setting the value to 6 means if 6 hitboxes are overlapping on top of 1 all at the same time, the 7th entity takes damage. 7 mobs can still overlap eachother without taking damage as long as less than 6 overlaps 1. It doesn't sound like a lot on paper, but you can still squeeze a lot of mobs together when you try it out. @Shad 1. The server doesnt feel vanilla at all. 2. /gamerule is a vanilla command. |

I'll go +1 for cramming for now then, but I'd want to see it expanded in future. |

I noticed maxEntityCramming is set to 5. I'd like to correct myself earlier as I've been experimenting with gamerules offline. maxEntityCramming should be set to 8 for ideal results. NEVER SET IT BELOW 6. Setting it below 6 causes random deaths of animals that arent even crammed. Players are dying when walking into uncrowded cow farms. Please fix the value ASAP |

What a surprise, staff fucked up the server.Again. Now we just wait a few months until Luigi can be bothered to fix anything. |
