A big problem that everyone hates on the forums, is how likely your comment will be posted twice. Usually, we all just edit it to say ‘double post’ or change it all to a period or something, but why can’t we just delete the comment? This would also help if you wanted to delete your reply and submit a new one, with changing votes or something. I understand not deleting topics without admins, but we should have the ability to delete our own comments without someone else. |

If you don't want your comment to be posted multiple times, only press the send button once. |

The glitch happens through many occurrences. Pressing the send button twice, press the back button after your post submits, and a faulty wireless connection. I've seen it get as bad as 7 replies in a row, and not being able to delete them is an eyesore. |

I used the back button after sending this message and it didn't get posted twice. |

If you use the back and then forwards button (or refresh after you've submitted it), it will try and post it again but your browser should say something like "are you sure you want to submit this form again?"
And of course if you press the link to go back (on the submission page) and then use the back button in your browser, it's going to take you back to the submission page and submit the form again. So either use the links on the page consistently, or the back button in your browser. |

Luigi has demonstrated his knowledge on how to not duplicate posts. Might as well close this suggestion, as now nobody will ever duplicate posts and delete buttons have been made obsolete |
